The Charleston Hardware Company began in 1999 with antique hardware sales and restoration. They began collecting original antique patterns and in 2003 started reproducing them utilizing the same techniques from over 100 years ago. Charleston Hardware analyzed the metal content of the originals and produce their hardware in matching materials of hand wrought iron and cast brass, bronze, and iron.
