Full Circle Studio, Inc. was founded on the belief that any "moment" in a home can be beautiful, delightful and inspiring. They also believe that in a world of mass marketing and huge chain stores, there is an important place for objects made by hand here in the US. Full Circle Studio is nested on a small island outside Seattle and everything they create is from original collages and designs and made by hand by local artisans.
The collages are created using elements of botanical etchings, old photographs, hand written letters and documents from the late 1800 and 1900's, canceled stamps, seals and other bits of antique ephemera. Multiples of the master collage are produced and applied by hand using a traditional decoupage process of layers of acrylic medium and varnish. The plates are then finished on the back with gold paint.
All switchplates are made with industry standard, oversized plates that are guaranteed to fit on any light switch.
Decoupage is a time honored and durable process. Please clean them with a damp sponge but do not immerse them in water!
